Organising the reference material for this type of subject can be difficult and consequently this type of painting cannot be undertaken as frequently as I would like. This scene shows a lad with his favourite horse calling at his grandads kitchen garden. The horse obviously enjoying the generosity of the relative and reward after a day working in the fields.
